Estimating potential reference evapotranspiration using time series models (case study: synoptic station of Tabriz in northwestern Iran)

Abstract The potential evapotranspiration is considered as an important element of the hydrological cycle, which plays role in agricultural studies, management plans irrigation and drainage networks, hydraulic structures. Estimating reference particular climatic regions at different time scales, one most atmospheric parameters, a importance optimal use resources. series analysis method, GARCH model, applied order to investigate changes estimate evapotranspiration. In present study, efficiency model related processes modeling estimating evapotranspiration, estimated by FAO Penman–Monteith Hargreaves methods, was investigated. Also, future values are modelled synoptic station Tabriz. Results showed that Time Series precise tool values. It found (1.1) has better results for methods compared other models; also, it simulates process with less error. Observed predicted charts both indicated observational highly close lower limit Therefore, applying estimation prediction value suggested.
